Snowbee Salmon and Sea Trout - Gye landing nets
15120 Salmon Gye Net

A traditional Salmon Gye style net with a 24" round Frame constructed in strong, but lightweight alloy tube. The die-cast throat joint, allows the frame to slide smoothly down the square section alloy handle, when required. Foam handle grip. Nylon Webbing Back sling, with quick release Velcro slip, allows net to be deployed, but remain attached to the wearer. The larger 11/2" knotless mesh, has minimal drag in even the fastest of rivers.

For additional reach, when fishing from the bank or boat, there is a separate, screw-in extension shaft, with a further foam grip, adding 18" to the length of the handle and converting the net to a double handed model. As a third option, this short extension shaft, can be used on its own as a net handle, to produce a short "Scoop" net, ideal when deep wading for Salmon or Sea Trout.

The well proportioned Frames are constructed from lightweight, corrosion proof aluminium and are fitted with quality knotless nylon nets. Comes complete with an adjustable lanyard, which converts into a quick- release back sling, when wading.

The round hoop frame is constructed in alloy tube for rigidity and light weight. It comes in 2 sizes - 18" or 22" diameter and is black anodised to avoid spooking the fish. A brass screw joint allows the head to be removed from the handle when travelling. The telescopic handle uses the same, reliable twist-lock mechanism, as used on our telescopic/folding range and our wading staff. This allows quick, simple single-handed operation and allows the handle length to be set at any desired position. There are probably more Boat Nets at the bottom of reservoirs, than there are in tackle shops, so to avoid this problem, the Snowbee Boat Nets come with an adjustable, screw-in lanyard, with various clips and rings, so it can be attached to any part of the boat. The net will also take our screw-in Spike, so can be used as a Bank net, when wading.
