11800 Snowbee Fishing Shirts
New for 2006 fishing shirts go back to the first principles-cool comfort. Having tried all the latest nylon & polyester "technical fabrics" we came to the conclusion that these are fine stood on the deck of a flats boat with a cooling breeze, but more temperate climates are like standing in a bin bag!.

Our latest material uses a soft, high count cotton fabric for the ultimate in crisp, cool comfort in all conditions.Blended with this is a high tech polyester, ultra fast wicking & quick drying, plus an amazing crease resistance for minimum iron. Essential when destination fishing & you want to be able to wash you shirt at night and just put it back on in the morning.

If you really need to keep your cool, this is the shirt for you ! Tested to the extreme, by our own design team in the USA, in searing temperatures, dressed in full breathable chest waders and walking over 5 miles a day in sand.

Results….cool as a cucumber and dry as a crisp !

For ultimate performance in all conditions, the material utilises the "Moisture Management System" by Ciba. This "Cool-Tech" fibre treatment, speeds up body moisture absorption, wicking it quickly to the outside, where it can evaporate. To assist the moisture transfer process, the top half of the shirt is lined with a fine mesh, which allows free air passage to prevent the outer material sticking to the skin. The back of the shirt has 2 side shoulder flaps, plus a full width back flap, opening onto the mesh liner. The two front pockets, have full width cover flaps with Velcro close tabs.

The sleeves feature articulated elbows and shoulder pleats for freedom of movement, when casting. Swiss Cuff loops and buttons hold them in place, when rolled up. Velcro "button" down collar and rear, reinforced Net Loop.

All seasoned travel anglers know that in hot, humid conditions, the only material which will keep you cool and comfortable is 100% cotton. Over the past 2 years we have moved away from the synthetic ‘technical fabrics’, firstly with our much loved ‘Snowbee fishing shirts’ and now with our new range of Tropics fishing shirts.

These lightweight, 100% cotton shirts are cool, crisp & comfortable, even in the temperature extremes, the tropics can throw at you. Made from a fine weave 150g cotton, for added protection these new shirts have a UPF (Ultra-Violet Protection Factor) of 30+…the equivalent of wearing Factor 30 Sunscreen! Two generously sized front bellows pockets for fly boxes, plus an outer sunglasses pocket one side and secure zipped pocket the other, with a Sunglasses holder loop on chest.The top half of the shirt is lined with a fine mesh, which allows free air passage to prevent the outer material sticking to the skin. Our new XS-Pro fishing trousers set new standards for others to follow.Made from the latest CVC material. This novel blend of 50% cotton, 50% Polyester, gives the soft feel of brushed cotton, coupled with the durability and fast drying properties associated with Polyester. DWR Coating These hardwearing Fishing Trousers have two side slant pockets, with 2 additional zipped security pockets behind, plus 2 rear pockets, with concealed zips. On the left leg, is a bellows style, zipped cargo pocket. Double seat and kneepads for added wear and a front D-ring for keys etc.The waistband has two side elasticated sections for comfort, plus an adjustable webbing belt in our new ‘Aztec’ pattern. CVC material: 50% Cotton, 50% PolyesterIn addition, the outer of this material is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. This chemical treatment forces water to bead up and roll off the surface of the fabric, which enhances the water-resistant properties and keeps the fabric light, by not soaking up water. This super durable application will retain its properties even after repeated use & washings.

13257 Wide Brim ‘Ranger’ Hat
With the increasing awareness of the harmful effects of too much sun, we are frequently asked for a Wide Brimmed Fishing Hat well here it is. Baseball Caps are fine, but offer little protection to the ears and back of the neck. Our new Ranger hat solves that problem in a stylish & practical way & is treated with an anti-UV agent for maximum protection. When we sent the material sample to the SGS Laboratory for testing, it went off the scale! It actually came back with an official UPF (Ultra-Violet Protection Factor) of 2569 allowing just 0.03% of UVA and 0.04% of UVB to pass through! Unfortunately, the ‘official’ rating system only goes up to factor 50+…the equivalent of wearing Factor 50 Sunscreen, so we had to settle for this! Made from a tough 10oz Cotton Duck material, which breathes naturally for summer coolness. Treated with a chemical water resistant coating, this new hat will also keep you dry in a downpour. Complete with an adjustable chin-strap for windy conditions, which can be tucked away inside the hat with a neat Velcro strap and a second Velcro pocket inside the hat crown for fishing licence etc.
